Notes from Coach Odebrecht
Welcome to the Olentangy Orange Girls Soccer Program!
My name is Jen Odebrecht and I am the head coach of the girls soccer program at Olentangy Orange High School.
I am extremely proud of the outstanding girls soccer program we are building at Orange. Last season we wasted no time establishing ourselves as a premiere girls soccer program in central Ohio, placing 2nd in the Ohio Capital Conference and finishing the tournament as sectional champions and Division II District Runners-up.
It is an expectation of our players to excel on and off the field at OOHS. Our team placed 6 players on the All-Conference team, including player of the year honors, as well as two players on the All-District team. Players in our incoming senior class are being actively recruited by numerous college soccer programs, and our team GPA is in the top tier of all athletic programs at Orange. Members of our program hold leadership positions in National Honor Society, Pioneer Ambassadors, Student Council, are editors of the school magazine, and volunteers in the community.
My coaching staff subscribes to the belief that the rigor of our expectations on the soccer field facilitates the growth of our players as leaders in the school community, outstanding students, and confident young women.
