Meet The Staff
Head Coach Jen Odebrecht enters her second year has head coach at Orange after leading the Pioneers to a 13-5-2 inaugural season that culminated in a trip to the Division II Central District Final.
Odebrecht graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida in 2003. Odebrecht was a three-year starting goalkeeper on the women’s soccer team after transferring from Ohio State. She was a captain and All-Sunshine State Conference selection in 2002. Her high school career as a four-year starter at Thomas Worthington culminated in OCC, District, and Regional championships in 1997 as well as a Division I State runner-up finish. She was a captain and ALL-OCC selection in 1996 and 1997. Odebrecht was the starting goalkeeper for the 1998 U-19 National Runner-up, Regional, and State Cup Champion COSA Express Club team.
Coach Odebrecht was an assistant at The Wellington School in 2003 and returned to Rollins College in 2004 as assistant women’s soccer coach. In 2006 she was the Head JV Coach at Thomas Worthington and compiled at 13-1-2 record in her first season as a head coach. Coach Odebrecht has a USSF “E” License and holds an NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma as well as a State and Regional goalkeeping diplomas. She is a social studies teacher at Olentangy Orange.
Assistant Varsity Coach Jessica Lane enters her second season at Orange after leading the JV team in 2008 to a 6-6-1 record.
She graduated from Gardner-Webb University in May 2007 where she was a four-year starter on the women’s soccer team. Lane played her first two high school varsity seasons at Gahanna Lincoln High School where she was named First Team ALL-OCC and Honorable Mention ALL-District as a sophomore. Lane transferred to The Wellington School her junior year where she was a team captain and First Team All-District her junior and senior seasons. While at Wellington, the Jaguars went 35-5-1 including the school’s first-ever district finals appearance in 2002. Lane was recognized by The Wellington School as the class Scholar-Athlete upon graduation. Coach Lane played for the Eagles Soccer Club and was a 2001 Ohio South State Cup runner-up.
Coach Lane is a head coach with GNA FC and holds a USSF 'E' License. She is a lease analyst for Asset Strategies Group LLC.
Head Junior Varsity Coach Denise Magoto enters her second season at Orange after assisting the Junior Varsity team in 2008.
Magoto graduated from Miami University in 2006 with a degree in Psychology. Coach Magoto played thirteen years of select soccer in the Northwest Indiana/Chicago area. She went on to be a four-year Varsity starter for Highland High School where she was part of two conference championship and sectional runner-up teams. Coach Magoto was named captain her senior year and was second team all-conference.
After graduation Coach Magoto joined REAL Colorado where she was the head coach of the U-12 REAL Colorado team for two seasons. Coach Magoto holds a USSF “E” licensure and coaches for the fall and winter Classics Academy Sessions.
Coach Magoto and her husband John live in Columbus and own a State Farm Insurance Agency.
